Flying Research

(Probably will update when I get more information)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3So7OMwNgy8 (good video to watch to get the concept of flying from a bird's perspective)

While the picture's hard to read it's actually really helpful in showing the shape of the wings and how it helps to fly. Basically the shape of the wing is what really allows it to fly; if you look closely at a birds wings you'll notice they curve in shape eventually tapering off at the end. The curve is what allows it catch air more so of below it's wing. The top doesn't get as much air as the bottom meaning that since there's less air pushing on the top than the bottom the bird will be able to stay in motion in the air. The same thinking can be applied to planes as they base their planes of that of a bird's wings as well.
